1. Acceptance
By using FaceMaxx, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the app.
2. The service
FaceMaxx offers facial analysis, personalized routines and tasks, progress and streak tracking, scan history, and comparison tools. Features may change as we update the app. The app is for your personal, non-commercial use unless we say otherwise.
3. Not medical advice
Scores and suggestions are generated for entertainment, self-improvement, and general wellness-style guidance only. They are not medical, dental, or clinical advice and are not a substitute for a qualified professional.
4. Your photos & AI processing
You choose which photos to analyze. To produce results, those images and related prompts are sent to OpenAI's API (GPT-4o) for processing. Your facial images are not retained on our servers after analysis is complete — we discard them immediately. OpenAI does not use API inputs to train its models. You are responsible for photos you submit and for complying with applicable laws.
5. Data on your device
Much of your data — including scan images, profile and routine information, and history — is stored locally on your device. Uninstalling the app or using in-app delete options may remove that data.
6. Subscriptions & purchases
FaceMaxx Pro is offered as an auto-renewing subscription. Subscriptions automatically renew unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current billing period. You can manage or cancel in your device's account settings. No refunds for unused portions except as required by law.
7. Acceptable use
You agree not to misuse the app, interfere with its operation, attempt to reverse engineer it beyond what the law allows, or use it in violation of any law or the rights of others.
8. Third-party services
The app relies on OpenAI for facial analysis and RevenueCat for subscription management. Those providers process data according to their own terms.
9. Disclaimer
The app is provided "as is." To the extent allowed by law, we disclaim warranties and limit liability for issues arising from your use of the app or reliance on its output.
10. Changes
We may update these terms. Material changes will be reflected in the app. Continued use after updates means you accept the revised terms where the law allows.
